Husker Harvest Days FAQ


How much do tickets cost?
Tickets are $15 for Adults; $8 for ages 13-17 and 12 & under are free. Tickets can be purchased at the gates.

Can I bring my dog to Husker Harvest Days?
No pets allowed except service animals which must be leashed at all times.

Does Husker Harvest Days have an app?
Yes! Visit your app store to download the app by searching for “2019 Husker Harvest Days.”

Is food available on site?
Yes! Food vendors include Grand Island Central Catholic School, Grand Island Senior High School, The Pork Place and Wood River Rural High School Booster Club.

If I plan on camping, where can I park?
RV and camper parking are available at Husker Harvest Days, east of the show grounds. There is no fee to park and no facilities are provided. The grounds open to camper and RV parking after noon (12:00pm) on Monday, September 9, 2019.         

Is handicapped parking available?
Yes there is handicapped parking available. Sites are located close to the entrance gates in the parking lot. Parking staff will direct handicapped vehicles of the correct places to park. Please have your handicapped verification visible.

Is parking free?
Yes! Parking is Free. Parking for all vehicles is located adjacent to the show site and is identified by row markers. Remember the row number and letter where you park so you can find your vehicle after the show.

Can I rent a golf cart?
Carts are available for rent on a first-come, first serve basis.  You may also call ahead to reserve a cart in advance. You must show proof of disability for cart rental. Cars will be available on a first-come, first-serve basis.

Can I bring my own golf cart?
Husker Harvest Days does allow visitors to bring in their own golf carts but they must purchase a pass from the golf cart provider. Husker Harvest Days does not allow vehicles that idle on their own such as ATVs, “Gators”, lawn mowers, etc. We ask for your consideration in following this policy.

Where is the Nebraska Farmer Hospitality Tent?
Visit with the editors, pick up a copy of the latest Farm Progress publications, enter to win fabulous prizes, visit the health screening booths or just relax at the Nebraska Farmer Hospitality Tent located at Main Street and Central Avenue.

Will Husker Harvest Days be cancelled if it rains?
Husker Harvest Days will be held rain or shine. In the case of extreme weather, the show may be closed or delayed depending on the severity of the weather.

Which forms of payment are accepted for admission?
Husker Harvest Days accepts cash at the gates. Admission is $15 for adults, $8 for youth 13-17, kids 12 and under are free.

Is there an ATM on-site?
Yes, an ATM will be located at the intersection at Main Street and Central Avenue.

Which services are available on-site?

  • First Aid: First aid stations will be located at the north end of West Street (outside Gate #6).
  • Lost and Found: All Lost and Found items will be brought to the show office located at the south end of the exhibit field outside of Gate #4.
  • Information Booths: There are five information booths dispersed throughout the grounds. These will be stocked with show information as well as local materials. Any last-minute changes, exhibitor additions or special program details can also be found at the Info Booths. Information Booths are distinguished on the map by a question mark (?).

Will there be field demonstrations?
Field Demonstrations are located north and west of the show grounds. Corn Harvesting Demos will begin at 10:30 a.m. and 1:00 p.m. with tillage following directly after. Corn Residue Baling will be at 2:00 p.m. and Haying Demonstrations will be at 2:00 p.m.

How many exhibitors will be at Husker Harvest Days?
At the 42nd annual Husker Harvest Days there will be over 500 exhibitors.
